Acronym of the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property, ABPI is a non-profit entity dedicated to the study of Intellectual Property, especially industrial property law, copyright, competition law, technology transfer and other related branches.

The ABPI promotes conferences, congresses and seminars, publishes publications on the subject of Intellectual Property, and permanently maintains Study Commissions and other working groups oriented towards the improvement of the legislation, doctrine and jurisprudence of this branch of Law.

The organization regularly participates in international intellectual property events, such as the International Trademark Association (INTA) International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AIPPI).

Founded on August 16, 1963 (under the name of the Brazilian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property), ABPI brings together companies, law firms and industrial property agents from Brazil and abroad.
